Join us for a live taping and listening-room concert for the Rachel Spencer Quintet! Rachel Spencer – Trumpet Gene Centeno – Saxophone Joseph Hernandez – Piano Liam O'Dell – Bass Josh Berry – Drums Austin-based trumpeter Rachel Spencer is known for her expressive tone, stylistic agility, and dynamic presence as both a side musician and bandleader. She has toured internationally, most recently serving as lead trumpet on the North American Broadway tour of The Addams Family: A Musical Comedy. An active performer and educator, Rachel maintains her creative projects as well as a thriving private studio. She holds graduate degrees from the University of Texas at Austin and is currently a doctoral candidate. In 2025, she was awarded the Presser Foundation Award, funding her debut recording, The Next Right Thing, which is pending release.
