Javier Vasquez – Alto Saxophone Kevin Ravellette – Tenor Saxophone Parker Powers – Trumpet David Warriner – Trombone Ian Clark – Guitar Miguel Rodriguez Jr. – Bass Isaac Mancillas – Piano/Keyboard Jose Godinez – Drums Javi was born and raised in Austin Texas, growing up he was immersed in the rich music culture of blues and rock at an early age. Javi continued his musical journey at the prestigious University of North Texas where he performed a plethora of music genres in the UNT Lab Bands and Latin Ensemble, then performing commercial music with the Zebras Ensembles. Javi Vasquez is a third generation musician and educator graduating with a Masters in Jazz performance from Texas State University under the mentorship of Joel Frahm. Pulling influences from bebop, blues and funk, Javi aims to perform jazz in its most contemporary form.
