Join us for Midweek @ Monks, a bi-weekly partnership with the Austin Jazz Society, featuring the Juliana Silveira Quintet! Paulo Santos- Tenor Saxophone Bruce Saunders- Guitar Juliana Silveira- Piano James Suter- Bass Daniel Dufour- Drums Juliana Silveira is a Brazilian pianist and composer graduated from Santa Marcelina University (São Paulo-Brazil). While living in São Paulo she was an acCve performer in a wide range of music styles. From playing in big bands, accompanying vocalists to solo piano concerts, she performed in various important stages in the city. In 2017 she moved to AusCn, Texas, where she conCnues her work as a piano educator while sCll performing jazz and Brazilian music around town. She has had the opportunity to play with great AusCn musicians, such as Grammy Award winner Jose Galeano and singer Susanna Sharpe.
