Join us for a live taping and listening-room concert for the Lamar Middle School Jazz Factory! The Lamar Middle School Jazz Factory is under the direction of Luis Corpus. Mr. Corpus and his incredible student musicians are thrilled to be performing for you all tonight. A portion of the proceeds to tonight's ticket sales will be donated to the Lamar Middle School Band program. The Lamar Middle School band program would like to thank you for all of your support. Tonight's program will feature famous charts such as, "Blue Bossa" by Kenny Dorham, arranged by Mark Taylor, "Smooth" recorded by Santana, featuring Rob Thomas, music by Rob Thomas and Itaal Shur, arranged by John Berry, "Blue Skies" words and music by Irving Berlin arranged by Roger Holmes, "Take Five" by Paul Desmond, arranged by John Zontek, "The Cool One" composed by Benny Golson, arranged by Erik Morales, and "Chameleon" by Herbie Hancock, Paul Jackson, Harvey Mason, Jr. and Bennie Maupin, arranged by Victor López.. Please Note: This is a live-taping, so we'll be enforcing a whisper-policy! Cold bottles of still and sparkling water will be available for purchase, but this All-Ages event is BYOB. Ice will be available if needed, wine keys and 9oz cups provided. 22 free parking spaces onsite are first-come-first-serve.
