Join us for a live taping and listening-room concert for Peggy Stern: Strings Etc.! Peggy Stern - Piano Alex Coke - Flute Javier Chaparro - Violin Jennifer Martens - Viola Danny Levin - Cello James Suter - Bass Michael Longoria - Percussion This June 18th Peggy Stern (pianist, composer) will be presenting The String/Flute project, a chamber music setting of Peggy’s original compositions. “I have enjoyed working on this project for quite awhile, writing several new tunes for the occasion, and fleshing out some older ones. It has been a joy to give each member of the group a specific role to play in the harmonic and melodic trajectory of each piece. Of course, this being jazz music (with a gentle classical bent),  the evening will include plenty of improvisation. Please Note: This is a live-taping, so we'll be enforcing a whisper-policy! Cold bottles of still and sparkling water will be available for purchase, but this event is BYOB. Ice will be available if needed, wine keys and 9oz cups provided! 22 free parking spaces onsite are first-come-first-serve. Doors at 7:45pm, Show at 8pm
