Torri Baker - Vocals Jason Quiroga - Guitar Marco Antonio Santos - Guitar Billy Satterwhite - Bass Daniel Sanchez - Drums Torri Baker: Torri Baker is a vocalist with an upbringing that cultivated a deep love for crafting harmonies and delivering soul-stirring performances. She has been shaped by rigorous vocal training and a diverse range of influences in jazz, soul, gospel, country, rock, and Broadway. She draws inspiration from many including Ella Fitzgerald, Barbra Streisand, Whitney Houston, and her mother, a revered gospel performer: Gerri Brown. Torri is also a proud alumna of Ohio State University. Marco Antonio Santos: Originally from Minas Gerais, Brazil, and currently based here in Austin, TX. Throughout more than fifteen years as a professional musician, Santos has performed extensively in Brazil and the United States, navigating freely between jazz, funk, pop, and brazilian music. His multiple influences range from Radiohead and Pat Metheny to Maria Schneider and Brazilian legend Milton Nascimento. Marco holds a doctorate in jazz composition and a master of music degree in jazz performance from the University of Texas at Austin. Jason Quiroga-McNay: Having grown up in a musical family, Jason was exposed to good music early on and began classical guitar studies at age 9. Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimmy Page and Eddie Van Halen attracted him to other genres in addition to his classical interests in his teens. After serving in the US Army, Jason returned to his musical endeavors and completed a bachelors degree in music at the University of Texas at San Antonio, as well as a bachelors degree in classical guitar and a masters degree in jazz guitar performance from the University of Texas at Austin. Billy Satterwhite: Billy has been performing on the bass guitar and double Bass at a professional level in professional settings since the age of 17. Playing in musical styles from jazz, rock, blues, country, symphonic, brazilian, salsa, and just about everything in between. Over the years he has performed all over the United States, and festivals in Canada, Mexico, Switzerland, France, South Korea, and Taiwan. Billy comfortably plays roles as a music festival coordinator, musical director, a musical sideman as well as a leader of his own groups. Billy holds a bachelors degree in jazz studies from Texas State University and a masters in music from the University of Michigan. Daniel Sanchez: Raised in Atlanta, GA and Lubbock, TX, Danny moved to Austin in 2009 after 10 years of living and performing in New York City. Musical versatility continues to provide him with opportunities to perform steadily here in Austin. He works with multiple musical production companies where he is sought after for corporate and private performances, original artists’ engagements, and guest artists. He serves in two music ministries in the Austin area and works closely with Genesis Drum & Bugle Corps based here in Austin. He holds a degree in music education from Texas Tech University. Danny lives in Round Rock with his amazing wife of 22 years, and their three cats. Please Note: This is a live-taping, so we'll be enforcing a whisper-policy!
