Trevor Gonzalez - Saxophones Cesar Torres - Trombone Milo Hehmsoth - Piano Mercedes Solis - Bass Israel Yanez - Drums Trevor Gonzalez is a Central Texas based saxophonist, originally hailing from San Jose, California. Before moving, Trevor originally studied with Bay Area legend Fred Rast. After moving in 2021, Trevor attended Austin Community College studying under Steven Sauerwein, Steven Sodders, and Jacob Wise, earning his Associates in Saxophone Performance. Trevor then transferred and is currently finishing his Bachelor's Degree at Texas State University studying under Jazz Legend Joel Frahm, and formerly Dr. Joey Colarusso. Trevor has also recently accepted and plans to attend Texas State to pursue a Masters Degree in Jazz Studies, continuing to study under Joel Frahm. While in school, Trevor has pushed to make a name for himself in the Central Texas music scene, continually inspired by the talent and tenacity of his peers. Trevor teaches a busy studio of students of all ages, as well as gigging all over the I-35 Corridor. He is incredibly excited to be making his Monk’s debut with his Senior Recital. Trevor is also a proud AFM local 433 member. Please Note: This is a live-taping, so we'll be enforcing a whisper-policy! Cold bottles of still and sparkling water will be available for purchase, but this event is BYOB.
