Woody Witt - Tenor/Soprano Saxophones Ben Clifton - Piano David Craig - Bass Graeme Francis - Drums Longtime collaborators David Craig (bass) and Woody Witt (saxophone) have shared the bandstand on countless gigs and recording projects over the past 35 years. For this special project, they’ve assembled a dynamic new quartet featuring two of Houston’s most exciting recent arrivals—Ben Clifton on piano and Graeme Francis on drums. Together, the group explores the powerful legacy of Keith Jarrett’s European and American Quartets. Far from a simple tribute, this project reflects the deep influence these recordings have had on each member’s musical voice. Jarrett’s adventurous spirit, lyricism, and rhythmic vitality have left a lasting imprint on their own compositions and artistic growth. This performance is both a reflection and a renewal—an homage to the sounds that shaped their journey, and a fresh take on music that continues to inspire. Please Note: This is a live-taping, so we'll be enforcing a whisper-policy! Cold bottles of still and sparkling water will be available for purchase, but this event is BYOB.
