Join us for a live taping and listening-room concert for Marco Antonio Santos | IN RAIN/BOWS! Marco Antonio Santos – Guitar, Arrangements Phil Spencer – Bass Brennan Howell – Drums Steele – Violin Kimbo – Violin Diana Burgess – Cello IN RAIN/BOWS is a project created by guitarist Marco Antonio Santos to explore the music of Radiohead through new arrangements shaped by jazz and chamber music influences. The sextet brings together two trios: guitar, bass, and drums alongside a string trio of two violins and cello. Each musician approaches the music as a collaborator and arranger, resulting in performances that are always fresh, spontaneous, and rich in texture. The string players bring a modern edge, incorporating effects pedals, extended techniques, and open-ended improvisation. The result is a dialogue between jazz, rock, and classical traditions, centered on the intricate and compelling music of one of the most influential bands of the past 35 years. The setlist spans Radiohead’s entire discography, and every musician has moments to be featured throughout the performance. Please Note: This is a live-taping, so we'll be enforcing a whisper-policy! Cold bottles of still and sparkling water will be available for purchase, but this event is BYOB.
