Join us for a live taping and listening-room concert for the Michael Ragonese Trio! Michael Ragonese - Piano Luca Alemanno - Bass Anthony Fun - Drums Jazz pianist and composer Michael Ragonese brings his trio on tour—featuring bassist Luca Alemanno and drummer Anthony Fung—in support of Chasing Calm, his much-anticipated third album, releasing October 10, 2025. Recorded in Los Angeles with a powerhouse lineup including Walter Smith III (sax) and JK Kim (drums), the album offers a deeply personal exploration of inner peace, blending modern jazz, classical textures, and dynamic improvisation. Recognized by All About Jazz as “a propulsive and unpredictable trio,” and as one of the most compelling young jazz pianists on the scene, Ragonese has performed and recorded with legends including Barbra Streisand, Ben Wendel, Mark Turner, Dayna Stephens, and Walter Smith III. His previous releases Day to Day and Stracci earned critical acclaim and established his voice at the intersection of jazz, classical, and his Italian heritage. Chasing Calm presents Ragonese’s most reflective and expressive work yet. This U.S. tour marks the first leg of a global campaign, with a European tour planned for early 2026.
