Times Jazz Critic Leonard Feather as “an ultra-smooth trumpet player”, Brian Bettger recently relocated to Texas from Southern California, where he was an active performer, educator, clinician, writer and arranger. Brian has performed with the Disneyland Band and Disney Corporation, Palm Springs International Film Festival, Pasadena Tournament of Roses, Pacific Symphony Orchestra, Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey Orchestras, Frank Sinatra, Mel Torme, Joe Williams, Bobby McFerrin, Chick Corea, Natalie Cole, Barry Manilow, Carmen Bradford, Bob Florence, Wayne Newton, Queen Latifah and the Mills Brothers, among others. Brian is currently the Musical Director of the Austin Jazz Band and a freelance trumpet player and composer/arranger in the Austin/San Antonio area.
